I lost my daughter in August 10,2008 in Chesapeake General Hosiptal. I went to the hosiptal with pain in my stomach around 4:15pm the nurse was very rude with me I told her if she can't be nice to me I want another nurse thats when she calm down. I ask for Dr. Hammer cause he was the last doctor I seem during my pernatal visit in his office. she kept telling me she can't get intouch with him. an hour went past I still was in pain I was hook up to montor that montor the fetus heart rate my baby heart was fine another hour still went past I still kept insisting my doctor she still say she couldn't get in touch with him I then say if you can't get intouch with him I don't mind seeing another doctor cause at that point I was and so much pain and bleeding very heavy she still will not send no doctor around 8pm she came in and say she got intouch with him and he say to give me pain medicine and stay over night my baby was still alive 2nd shift nurse came in notice that the baby heart wasn't beatin anymore. around 11pm finally gave me in ultra sound. Dr. hammer came in around 6am the next day and told me my baby die cause I had an percental abruption I was upset I ask him where was you my baby was alive you could had deliver my baby he apologize and told me that the nurse was feeding him with false information he say if I would like to pursue this I could go threw his wife cause she is a malpractice lawyer and we could go after the nurse and the hospital I didn't won't to take that route cause I know he was trying to protect his self thats way he was putting everything on the nurse at that point I start looking for lawyers it was very hard cause dealing with local attorney they all know one another and they knew his wife so I went outside of my area I found and lawyer name Martin Trpis he was very helpful and wanted to take my case I learn a lot from him he told me all the mistake they made he had experience in cases like mines he told me he was gettin an expert to look at the case when he did he told me that everything was ok and I only have 2yr to file the complaint and a year went past he kept telling me everything was being handle. when my time was almost up I call in July 2010 I found out he had left the ferm and my complaint have to be file by August 10 2010 I told them that and they told me they will try to get him back in before that he came in 2 week before Aug 10 2010 he gave me a call in explain to me that I still have a case and ask for my address cause he was doing the paper work. I gave them a call and talk to a secretary name Mary she told me they file it already everything is fine I get a letter Friday August 20,2010 saying that they file it a day before which is Aug 9,2010 now I have a year to found another attorney I understand that Mr. martin trpis left the ferm but you can't help me she say that she doesn't know where he done with expert information. It hard to found justice cause the Doctor wife is a malpractice lawyer and she knows people So please help me so I could get justice for my daughter. Thank you for listen to me I hope someone out there hear my crys cause it been 2 years I'm gettin tired of my eyes being blinded by my tears
