My wife and I just purchased a used car from Nissan McKinney and paid $6,500 cash plus tax, title, and license. Nissan assured us the car was in great shape and has gone through their rigorous inspection and that they would not sell any car that would not be dependable. The car smoked when we drove it and Nissan insisted that it was probably cleaning solution and must have been spilled during the detailing process. My wife parked the car in our driveway and she noticed a green solution forming in a puddle. The service manager, "PJ" (972-880-3237) told me to bring the car in if we had any problem. Well, my wife took it in and now they claim that there is a problem with the boot and that it must have happened "after" we purchased the car so now they want over $700 to repair it. The security light is going off so they want an addition $150 - $200 to fix that. This is an outrage. I purchased a new automobile from Nissan of McKinney two years ago and I take the vehicle in like clockwork and keep it maintained and this is the way we are treated? They say that they pride themselves in doing "what's right"... well, this is anything but right and a shady way of doing business! They have lost my business for good and anyone else I can persuade to stay away from this dealership!
