We purchased a brand new Whirlpool front loader Washer & front loader Dryer in March from HHGregg. We were extremely happy with our purchase until about 3-4 months into it, then our washer sounded like a helicopter taking off and our dryer wasn't drying as fast as it should have been drying. Around September 15, 2011 I called for service and it was scheduled for Friday, September 23, 2011. A man came out and said that the entire drum went bad and he needed to order over $800 in parts for the washer. Our dryer was burning our clothes were there are small circular spots on a lot of our clothes (especially my daughter's school shirts). I contacted Whirlpool and they told me they were under warranty but the products wouldn't be available until Nov 4th. Too make a long story a little shorter, we are requesting a new washer and dryer because we were sold LEMONS. Washer and dryers do not break within the first six months of their life. We are a family of six and the inconvenience of not having a washer and a dryer for over a month is completely ludicrous. Thank you for your time and cooperation in this matter.
