I'd like to tell people a little bit about my experience with Aarons. Not because I'm mad or wanting any kind of vengeance but because I'm totally shocked that a place like this is allowed to operate. I found Aarons Rent To Own Center to be one of the biggest scam operations I've ever run across in my life. I've heard about title loans places, and things like that but, these people have come up with a legal "con" operation that is unbelievable. The whole scam is based on them having someone like the assistant manager, or finance person sell you on getting something, using all kinds of false facts, and promises. Then after all the papers are signed, and finished you don t ever talk to that person again. Instead, you always talk to the manager who s job is to tell you that everything you were told before was a mistake. I'm talking about from the merchandise to your payment date. Everything you were told, or promised is out the window, and the nightmare begins! These people will call you, and call you. They will call your references and try to sell them on something. They are like some sort of disease you ve run across and can t get rid of. Even after I had had enough of them in my life, and wanted them out of my life forever, they just keep on, and on. I went so far as to pay them in advance for an additional two weeks rental when I asked them to come get their merchandise. That way I didn't owe them, and if anything, they would owe me. But that didn't work either. For a month, and a half they continued to call and bother, and harass me, my family, and my references. They didn't come get their merchandise for six weeks, and they quit bothering us either. In fact, even after they came and got it, they re still bothering us. My advice to anyone wanting, or needing anything is to stay away from Aarons. No matter how bad you want, or need something, it s not worth the nightmare you ll experience while dealing with Aarons. This is truly a perfect example of the old saying "buyer beware".
