Larson security storm door lifetime warranty ran out in 1 year - security styrom door

I bought the top-of-the-line Larson storm door with 3 locking devices on it and a lifetime warranty. The bottom latch started sticking after a few months and eventually the door would not shut properly nor lock. I called the Larson Company seeking someone to check the door out and determine if it could be repaired and to see if it was covered by the lifetime warranty. A person named Beth at Larson told me the following:

1. Locks are not covered under the lifetime warranty.
2. The company has no way to send someone to check it out or repair it.
3. She would read the instructions over the phone as to how I could take the door apart and determine if it could be repaired.
4. Fopr $69.00 they would send me a replacedment lock meachanism and I could replace it.

I told her how dissatisfied I was with those answers and she said there was nothing they could do for me.

Some lifetime warranty with no repair representatives and no way to make reapirs except on your own.
