My husband and I have spent lots of money updating to the new TV format. We are extremely
frustrated and disappointed in your format of broadcasting. We purchased a large HD TV and
would like to enjoy the broadcast. Our complaint of frustration is that there is so much garbage
blocking out the picture that we now see less picture than we did with the old analogue broadcasting.
Photographers and reporters risk their life to gather video of war torn countries and their fights for
freedom and your producers block out the pictures with cut in photos of the news caster, the
running type at the bottom, the station identification, the time, etc. your constant garbage on the
screen leaves us seeing so little of the picture it is incomplete information. We turn on the program
and immediately, except for commercials we loose 25-30% of the view screen we have paid for.
When you choose to cut the remaining portion in half our view is less than half on the event.
Please leave this type of broadcasting to the Internet if you must have all of these distractions
on the TV, viewers who set in their homes and pay high prices to have the delivery of the
reception to their homes would like to see a full screen on their Tv's of the show itself, NOT THE
CHOSEN GARBAGE BLOCKING OUR VIEW.!!!!!!
This morning while watching the ceremony at Arlington cemetry, with the President and other
people, we had the view blocked again and the people who where there to honor the memories
of fallen, had their faces blocked with your useless information on the screen. How disrespectful
is this?
I am sure you will not respond or even consider this a valid complaint but frustration is a very
bottled up anger, and so I hope you will consider this complaint.
