We purchased the Toshiba laptop from Radio Shack at 19735 East Apache Trail and included extended warranty with 2 year replacement plan. The laptop was being carried to college class when the owner was bumped and the laptop was dropped and the screen was broken. When Radio Shack was contacted they claimed they could not cover accidental breakage. The extended warranty plan and insurance coverage was only for design flaws and manufacturers hardware defects coverage. The salesman at Radio Shack was asked at time of purchase, "If this is dropped and breaks the unit will be covered?" The answer provided was "Yes.". Today the people at Radio Shack stated they would not cover the broken screen on the laptop. Obviously the warranty and insurance information provided is misleading. Something somewhere is not right and needs to be corrected, even if it is to prevent someone else from being ripped off like this.
