I received a $2,000 piece of furniture from La-Z-Boy Furniture in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The furniture not only came with the wrong fabric which I specifically said I did not want, but it is worn looking and the quality is extremely poor. After going through hell with their customer service people and being treated terrible, I finally got in touch with the owner. He wanted us to look for something else, but nothing else appealed to us and, after the horrible way we were treated and the poor quality of the furniture, we just wanted a refund and to get this furniture out of our house. The owner refused to pick up the furniture unless we signed a paper saying we would accept a store credit. This is not what we would do so he said he would not pick up the furniture. We do not consider this our furniture because it is wrong and do not want it in our home God forbid anything were to happen to it, we did not want to be responsible. I wrote the better business bureau, contacted our credit card company and will post this message wherever I possibly can. These are not the days to just sit back and be taken advantage of for $2,000. Please think twice before you buy from La-Z-Boy Furniture in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
