We were searching for a Ford Mustand Convertible and found one on Koon's Ford of Annapolis website. I emailed with questions about the price and they responded that the price was firm. I then called the next day with another question about the car and was given answers about that specific car, because we had found one at another dealership, a few thousand dollars more, but Koon's said they were firm on their price. We drove the 1 hour drive on a Saturday morning and when we arrived, we didn't see the car on the lot. We asked, to which the salesman said, 'oh we sold that car in the middle of the week'...I had called after that, and said I just spoke to someone yesterday and he said 'oh we just tell people that to get them to the lot'. We promptly left and bought the other car at the Ford dealership in Gathersburg. And with that I have been checking their website weekly, its still listed as For Sale. I even sent a message back to the company, in response to a follow up from their salesman, trying to sell me a car, that I couldn't believe they would continue their 'bait and switch' method on folks. He responded that he doesn't do that...the car is still listed as For Sale!!!

thats just my experience, but we also saw cars For Sale on the website that are on the front line with a VERY small sticker on the windshield that says 'this car is not for sale'
