I had a Kirby salesman in my home, he talked me and my boyfriend into letting him show us how it works this took about 2 hours of our time.
We decided to try it. The took a check for $1200 post dated for 3 days, if we decided we didn't want it, no questions asked all we had to do was call and they would come and get it. We called the next day to let them know we did not want the vacuum, they were too busy that day to come pick it up so the next day we called no answer or return call. The next day same thing.
On Monday they cashed the check they were going to tear up and not cash.
Did I mention it was for $1200?????
This has put me and my three children in a terrible hardship. My house note bounced, I have incurred over $300
in overdrafts and still no money from the Kirby people.
Jamie the lady in charge, assured me that I would get my money today Wed. Nov. 14th. This morning I get a phone call from her saying I have to go to my bank and get a print out saying the check has cleared ( 9 days ago?)
And she would give me a check tomorrow.
Only if I was not rude or ugly with her on the phone.
I am very frustrated, this has caused a serious hardship on me and my children. I am a single mom one income and it all went to this scam.
I need help!
