On November 12, 2007 I brougt several items to the consignment store (1 crib, 3 strollers, 1 walker, 1 changing table, 1 bouncer, 3 complete crib covers, 2 bathtubs, 10 big bags of clothes and shoes) I paid $5 annual fee cash ( I did not get a receipt) she told that whatever she sells I would get half. I asked her how she would know what is my stuff, she answered me that she pays somebody to do inventory.I called her after a month and she told me that she just sold 3 of the new dresses, that she would call me back, but she never did.I called her back few weeks after, and she told me she sold the crib that she would call me back, again she never did. I decided to go to the store. She finally paid me $70 for the crib and the walker on Feb 21, 2008, I decided to pick up all my stuff, but 90% of my items did not have an account number,evidently she sells the items and she does not know who the items belong to. I pick up the big items, but she returned just 3 big bags instead of 10, and the crib covers were all incomplete .
I asked her and she said that she needed to check on her computer(that's what she always used to say when I called her), but yet she asked me to make a copy of my notebook where I have of the big items written down.I told her that I was missing the bouncer,shoes, a lot of clothes, and she did not pay me for the dresses she told me over the phone she already sold.I left the changing table because it did not fit in my car.When I came back on March 24, 2008 to pick up the changing table, the remaining of my items and the last check.She was very unprofessional and she made me feel like I was begging for my money.She told me that she sold the changing table,after asking her for the bouncer ,she repeatedly told me she did not know.I showed her the box because that bouncer was new.
After I shower the box she said she sold it, and then she told me that I have to paid her annual fee $10,I told her I already paid her, but she said no!.she deducted it the $10 from the last check.I asked her to paid me for the 3 new dresses that she already sold ,because I did not wanted to come back.she told me she need it to check again.This woman did not pay me for any of the clothing, she sold my items with no account number,she did not know what items belongs to me,she tells you one price over the phone,but when you go to pick up the check she tells you another price. She kept 7 big bags of clothes and shoes,she charged me 2 times annual fee and she did not pay me for the 3 new dresses.She paid me less money for the items she sold. She stole from me and I felt I should report this to the proper authorities.
