I was staying at the Budget Suites in Addison, Tx 15130 Marsh Ln. for about 8 months. I always paid my rent on time, I was quiet and never caused any problems. I was living there with my boyfriend and son. I had an incident with my now ex-boyfriend trying to beat up my 17 year old son. I called the police and everything was taken care of, my boyfriend went to jail and was not going to get out due to other legal issues he was having. Plus, there was no way I was going to bail him out in the first place. The next morning I was given a letter of eviction for domestic violence! I tried to talk to the manager, Sergio, and explain to him that the offender was not coming back and there would absolutely be no more incidents of this nature. He did NOT listen to me at all. He was completely unsympathetic. Did not care that I had no where else to go. Did not care that I was the victim not the one who caused the trouble. Nevertheless, I was forced to move out in 6 days, all for doing nothing but trying to protect my son and I from harm. This place and their "policies" are terrible. I guess if someone came in with a gun I'd better not call the police or I will get kicked out. This place had been my home and they treated me and my son as if we were the criminals. Yet, they continue to allow drug users and dealers to live there. The police are constantly arresting people for warrants, they don't get kicked out. This place is horrible. They have no heart and no consideration for others. The staff is rude and they could careless if you have a complaint. They have no problem kicking hard working innocent people into the street. Do not stay there unless you want your life to get ripped apart for absolutely no good reason.
