Kia Motors Complaint

Extended Warranty Is No Good

I have a 2001 kia sephia with the 10 yr.....100,000 Miles warranty. I keep up with all the repairs and oil changes and things like that..In dec 2005 I had the 90,000 mile service done .. In January 2006 my transmission went. I had the car towed to my kia dealer and they put in a rebuilt one and then they told me that it wasn't their responsibility to replace it because ...Now they are saying...The p;lace at which I have my service done......(Speedy lube of maywood nj) pu tin the wrong fluid.. But on the paper work I got from the it says they used what is recommended by the manuf. It costs me $2100.00 For the rebuilt transmission and now I want kia to reimburse me for it. The trans mission is covered under the power train warranty. Kia refuses to send me back my money. Several calls have been made and it takes days or weeks to get a call back.

This is bad customer service and I feel it is their responsibility to reimburse me. I am a 55 yr old disabled female and I had to borrow the money in order to get my car back. I have now heard the kia is known for not standing behind their extended warranty and it isn't fair.
