Calling on this TV ad for a book on weight loss. They try to throw in last minute "Free" items, once they get your info and credit card number - that is!! They ask if you want RUSH ORDER!! - thats 10.00 extra. Then they state you get three FREE Magazines subscriptions for three months, after three months they bill you on your credit card for the magazines that you got "FREE" if you don't call and cancel said subscriptions!!
So they are giving your credit card information to a Magazine co. Free!!!!
Passing along info-on you FREE!!!!! Ain't that nice !!!
Then your one book comes priority mail 11 days late... this on 3-4 day RUSH ORDER !! And Extra 10.00 on your purchase.
The scam is they make twice the purchase price on up-scale ship/handling and it still arrives late. They lie and use ground ship... you paid extra for nothing!!!!
