Just another WEGA gone bad - Sony WEGA TV

Just another $3,000 investment down the drain. Had the extended warranty they fixed and now several months later broken again and sony will not make it good. I got the blue globs about 3 months ago on my KDF-60XS955 bought in 2005?. $1200 repair estimate. Called sony and they say they extended the warranty to December 2008, sorry it didn't break before then. now they say I have two weeks to decide if I want to buy one of a few offered models at a discount. The discount isn't any better than a holiday sale price. I told them I would not buy another product from a company that will not stand behind its products. They just say sorry you feel that way. No more sony for me.
