I hit a jackpot of 2350.00, while waiting for payment, I continued to put money in the same machine. after a long while I went looking for the floor person. I found her and she had other personell with her they escorted me into a room where they informed me they were not going to pay me my winnings. The floor person said,"I guess I'd better get ahold form" at wich they all" sshhed" her and acted as if they didn't know what a hold form, was. I'm sure the supervisors knew what it was. But they would not acknowlege it until I demanded it. They told me I would have to leave. They told me I could contact the gaming commission on Monday. Nothing further. After doing some research, I decovered that a barred individual, shoud have received a certified registered return receipt letter of notice that they were barred, there signature being the proof of notice. I never signed anything pertaing to permanent banning in 1999 for a minor incedent in wich I took resposibility for in 1999. I would have requested a hearing in the matter if I had. I worked in the tourism industry for 25 years, and had recommended many a visitor to cliff castle and had transported many more to cliff castle. I myself have spent many a weekend entertaining at cliff castle in the past twelve years. The incedent that occurred 12 years ago was set aside by the judge in 1999.
when I asked the judge if I would be able to return to cliff castle he said,"I'm sure you can. I thought nothing more about it and have beeen spending my money there often over the years. I delivered liquior ther for two years, I had a bar code on the back of my license for my son to attend kids quest for many years, and my brother and myself went gathering signatures on patitions for tribal gaming to be voted on years back. The state gaming laws stated that if a barred individual wins a jackpot, they are to be payed, escorted out the door and told never to return. I was not given any of the cortesy you would expect from such a respected intity. Esspesialy such a minimal amount, they let me play all these years? If I had a castle club card they would have payed me. So I app;ied a few days later. They sent me a congratulations notice and tol me to pick up my card at the hotel. Yet I still have received nothing from the gaming commision on my request for a hearing from the tribal court and it has more than 30 days since I requested it. Nothing but notices saying I'm not eligable to receive winnings. Ironic also is that if I had been native American I would have never been banned and I would receive all of my winnings and some kind of dividends from the casino. Well I am anative Arizonan, and I am very offended by this since they aren't suffering much during this resetion due to people like myself, and 2350.00 is a drop in the bucket to them but to a single mom like myself 2350.00 could get me out of debt right now. BS? or what?
