Link Snacks Inc.
Upon reading your letter dated July 27, 2007. Your letter stated, and I quote,” Our goal, everyday is to make certain that our products reach our consumers as safe and flavorful as possible. Jerky, like other meat products, should be refrigerated after opened. This information is now on many of our bags.”
The fact is, there was nothing written on the package (having to be refrigerated) I bought and there should have been. You also stated on the phone the new labels were in progress. These products should be taken off their shelf’s immediately, do the refrigeration problem. If others consumers get as sick as I was, and with you knowing there is a problem, your company will also be responsible for their serious health problems also. I am bringing your letter to Wal-Mart and showing them what you wrote about the refrigeration problem, Maybe Wal-Mart will remove this product before it makes another consumer sick.
Telling me on the phone it was my fault was wrong.
The three days I was so ill (vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss of five pounds) I now know Link Snacks Inc. is at fault, it states so in your written letter re: refrigeration. Again, if the warning (refrigeration after opening necessary) was written on the package I bought at Wal-Mart, I would not have gotten so violently ill. Your product is libel for all my pain and suffering.
