I joined "Its Just Lunch" September 2008 because dating in your 40's in a military town is difficult the bars are full of 20 somethings. I sat down for a interview and told them I been married before and perfer someone who had been divorced. I am not much into sports I like more of artsy stuff like dancing, music, concerts and photograhy. I told them I work out and take care of myself and wanted no fat people. I got my first match and he was in his early 30's matched up by a 20 year old who works in the office not the perfessional matching system I expected. I expect a lot at $1400.00. The girl insisted I go out with this 32 year old I am 42. She siad he was willing to date me. I really did want to date someone with less life experience then me, but went out to give it a chance. We had nothing in common he was overwieght and the only thing he asked about me if I had a house. I went out on two more thirty year olds I finally called the office and voiced my concern. The office told me they matched me with these younger guys becuause they were the only ones who liked music they guys in there 40's only liked sports. I told them why did you take my money if you did not have anybody my own age to match me with. I put my membership on hold to avoid the horrible dates. I knew I was trapped into a contract and called to activate my membership. I went out with people my age nobody liked to dance not one they all liked football I hate football and told the girl these men maybe have one charateristic in common and that it and not enough to even go on a second date. I met another individual we happen to go out on a second and third date he was overwieght and did not work out or liked the outdoors, but for $1400.00 I gave him a chance. I asked around the third date why he gave me the grand tour of his life but his house never heard from him again and when he was calling only during the day during working hours. I called and asked why they set me up with a guy in a relationship they said he was not married they way he acted wasn't of a free man. I could not take anymore and told them I had enough humiluation and wanted my dignity back and told the director I wanted my money back. I told her not one guy could dance and none of them worked out or liked music as much as I did. I told her why did she take my money with knowing that she did not have the clientale. I can not go on the news because of my job. I work in civil service and have to work in the public and the exposure would be mortifying. I believe nobody should have to be trapped into a deceitful contract. I had business law and no my money is gone. At less Jessie James had a gun when he robbed people I was flat out lied to and never saw my money again. I hope sombody can help me or at least air my story without any picture on the news. I am embarrassed and feel like an idiot for handing my money over to a bunch of thieves. I think it a fradulate business and they lie about they will not admit they don't have the clientale and take your money any way.
