Hello my name is Yvette Kurvin I live at 36 Rose St. in Willingboro New Jersey. I'm having a problem that I can't handle by myself I need your help. Let me begin from the beging I use to live at 5 Montrose Lane in Willingboro New Jersey I moved to my present address since 9/1/09.I went to pseg and let them know that I had moved and I needed service to my new address and to shut off my old address I brought all of the paper work that I needed to switch it. my old account number was 6702087705 which was suppose to be turned off. I notice that I didn't get a bill for the 1st couple of months I notify pseg that I didn't received a bill yet they told me that they would take care of it. Months has past I kept telling them I need to see bill once again they said that they will fix the problem. Then I started getting phone calls to my house stating that I need to pay my bill once again I told them that I haven't received a bill to my new address yet and I would like to see a bill they said that they sent the bill to my home I tried to let them know that I didn't get it. By this time they start coming to my home I told them the same thing that I haven't receive a bill yet. The person told me to go down to the headquerters in Burlington NJ. which I did I went down there and let them know that I didn't receive a bill yet same as before they would take care of it. Well the calls kept coming and the people kept coming I kept on telling them that I didn't recive the bill yet. Well it was over a year now that I've been telling them I need a bill. In October 2010 I went to my old adress I saw the mail person she gave me a letter from pseg it said that my equal payment plan was 31.00 dollars a month. So I went to pay for a couple of months then they stated that was my old account number that I received my bill for I asked them when am I going to receive my new account bill and again of couse they would take care of it. By this time I got feed up and called bpu in November of 2010 I talk to a Mr. Zinner he had down that I still lived on Montrose I told hime that I didt live there since 2000 he then said he would look into well didn't hear back from him until December of 2010 he gave my case to a Mr. Frank Ewell the excutive office of pseg I explain the problem he told me to go down to Burlington again anf give them my information once again I did so I was there for over an hour. They found out the problem was they was sending my bill to my old adrres and that they would take care of it. Well I didn't receive my 1'st bill until 2/11 here comes the shocker it was 10,288.96 yes you saw right. I hurry up and called Mr. Frank Ewell back he asked if the gave me any credit since it was their fault I told him know I faxed him the thing that I receved from my bill which was for Montrose Lane. He told me that he was going to look into it to see what he can do which was on 3/02/11. Well as time passes on pseg came and shut of my my electric for none payment Which wouldn't had happened if they 1'st listen to me when I said in the begging that I needed a bill. Until this day its still off but I think they still have me messed up because the next day I received a letter from pseg that they are going to shut of my account at Montrose because the can't get in touch with me so the can changed the meter. They want me to give them 2,500 before they can turn it back on which I know that the mistake that I made was saving up the money for when they to fix the problem that it have to be paid. Which I didn't but they should take sum of the blame all. The are aware of the mistake that they did but they want me to give them all of this money when I kept telling them that I didn't get a bill if they would of look the 1st time I told them this wouldn't have happened. Until this day I get calls from the old house saying that it going to be cut off the last call that I receive was 4/13/11 so why haven't they shut it off yet the house been board up since 10/09 why are the haven't someone checking the meter there. I believe that they should give me credit because of their mistake not mine when I kept on telling them I didn't receive a bill a my new address. Yes its my fault that I didn't save money but they made the bigger mistake by not fixing the problem sooner.
