Bidrack.com Complaint

Internet Scam - online auction

I was referred to www.bidrack.com through another website. I thought that I was just creating a customer profile at the time, and unfortunately put in my credit card information. It did not mention anywhere that I was being charged, or would be charged $99.00 for bids. The only reason I found out I was charged is that I happened to check my account, for other transactions I had made. I called bidrack’s customer support number around 10:30 A. M., and explained to them, my issue, however instead of being genuinely understanding they were defensive. They offered me some free bids. I told them I did not want free bids but I wanted the transaction stopped. They refused to do so, even though the transaction was and is still pending. The combination of the companies unwillingness to cooperate, and their defensiveness gave me the inclination that I was being scammed. That is when I told them I was going to take legal action and report them to the BBB. After hanging up with bidrack, I googled the company and found that my inclination was correct, and I was being scammed. I then called my bank and they said that, I cannot file a dispute until the transaction has cleared, which will be five days from today 5/24/2011.
It is now 12:44 P.M. and checked my bidrack account, (to help me provide information) which previously had 175 bids and now I currently have Zero.
Story is still going...
