Ordered $1,649.00 dollars worth of Bedroom Furniture from efurnituredeals.com on 12/3/08. Was billed on my credit card immidiately and when I questioned this with customer service via phone the vendor said this was a 'standard practice' even though the item(s) were not in stock. Was then informed that the order could take up to six weeks to fullfill. Within a month I called them to inquire about the status of the order and was then told that it could take up to eight weeks from the date that I placed the order. Emailed them numerous times to follow up and never got a response. By 2/10/09 I sent one last email asking for a refund which was ignored. I called customer service on 2/11/09 and was told that the representative on the phone didn't have the 'authority' to issue a refund but that they would have a manager call me back. I wasn't going to wait for a phone call that was never going to happen.(They also had some lame excuse about my furniture order being delayed for some unknown reason that was not clear)--Yea right. I already filed a report with the Better Business Bureau and told my Credit Card company that I was contesting the charge since I never received the merchandise. efurnituredeals.com = SCAM!
