Last month I purchased an INSTYLER "hot curling iron" and took the free additional iron with paid shipping. The first thing that happened was they billed me twice and managed to credit me once. Then, after I seriously burned myself, the iron badly singed my hair. When I tried to return the item, the salesman offered me a $30.00 discount on the purchase and was very pushy. I declined the offer, obtained a return number and mailed the item back to the company at my cost of $5.70. When I received the credit it was $42.00+ short of a FULL CREDIT for two items I had in my home less than two weeks. I'm sure they have written their "contract" so that it includes phoney "restocking" charges (one of the items was NEVER out of the box), etc. This company's product is dangerous and the company is unethical.

I had same experience with saying you could keep one and ship back other id f you didnt like, but time to return I needed to ship both back losing my shipping cost to me and 8.50 to send back.

I was mislead by this company (Instyler). I bought the product, and it did not work. When I returned it they overcharge me. This people are ripping off a lot of customers, and somebody should do something about it.

I had th same experience also, I used is once burned myself, saw all the negative feedback and returned it immediately, they keep billing my credit. Somebody had to do something, this isn't right. How are they gettin by with this.

I purchased the instyler approximately 2 months ago, although it does make straightening your hair easier I would not recommend the product because of the severe burn danger. There is no protection from the barrel or the metal on the brush. I have burn't myself several times. Did not bother trying to return the product, figured it was a hassle. I tried to post my comment on the official website under the thumbs down twice and still have not seen it posted.

this company is the worst i have ever dealt with. it's overpriced, and mine broke after using it for only 3 months! that was sept. 2009, and i still havent got a replacement, and was flat out told that i could not get a refund. they are crooks! and i didn't even like the stupid thing! so now, i'm out $165 and i don't even have a working unit, i mailed the other one to my sis as a gift, and she doesn't like it either. ABSOLUTE CROOKS!!!

This product is a complete rip-off. DO NOT PURCHASE! Product DOES NOT work as promised. I asked for a full refund and they refused. Didn't even want to hear me out...simply refused to give me a refund, even though I only used it once. They need to be reported to the BBB and I am in the process of doing just that.

Hahaha if you were gonna return it cause you didnt like it why would you even keep one, remember you didnt like it. And the offer says buy 1 get one free not try 1 and keep 1 free..

Don"t get involved with this company. It's a total rip off. The price is really $165.00 and the product is cheaply made. Just stay away...do yourself a favor. You've been warned.

The instyler does not work at all. They falsify the video presentation. They never once mentioned the cost being anymore then $14.99. This company is unethical and should put out of business.

I too had a bad experience with this product, I had the product for a month and then got my credit card debited for 59.99 and paid the 14.99 price for trial, you would think that the 14.99 goes toward the payment of the item but it DOES NOT !! do the math 14.99 59.99 39.99 39.99= 154.96 which is a complete rip off because the item is cheaply made and you are actually buying the second one too they just dont tell you that. I was smart I paid the 59.99 and the 14.99 and then I called my credit card and reported it stolen they cant get any more of my money and I scamed them just like they scamed me, someone should do something about this company false advertisement !!!!!! We pay money for good stuff and for 154 dollars you can buy a CHI which is the best of the best in the market, I should of done that, now I am stuck with this garbage !

had this product not three months and over the weekend it just fell apart in my hands. i dread calling the customer service tomorrow, but i will!!!
