May 5th I bought a side by side black refrigerator for my kitchen, they guaranteed that it was the correct size I gave them, 33" wide and 28" deep. I wanted to update the look. It was suppose to be delivered on the 10th. On the 6th, I fell and broke my hip so I was in the hospital until the 19th. My sister called and told them what happened and they agreed to hold it until I got out. When I got out on the 19th, I called them and set it up for them to deliver on this last Thursday the 20th.
When they came they took out the old refrigerator, and couldn't fit the new one in. I even let them remove the baseboard into the kitchen to try. Couldn't get it in. In the whole process, he damaged an antique table of my grandmothers, a dresser, put holes in my wall, and broke a tile on the step out of my house. He said that he had another one back at the store that he thought could fit, and then took my refrigerator away, and said that he would be back in a little while with the other one, after not hearing from him I called his number, the company, every number I had to tell him to at least bring back my refrigerator, so I could have some food.
Since Thursday, I have tried to find out what is going on, because here I am in a wheel chair, with no food for 4 days now. I have called at least 6 times a day, when the delivery guy hasn't returned my call, I have called the company, and all they say is that they will have him call. When he has called which is once yesterday, he said that the problem with the refrigerator that he brought was that it didn't have a flat back, it stuck out a little. He said he was on his way into work and he would call me back in half an hour, and never did. I am getting the runaround and don't know what to do. I need food in the house, because I can't drive, and this is nuts.
