I purchased this 100% "outstanding quality", italian rug from this store in Campbell. Payed $430 hard earned, for it with a promice from the lady in the store that it will not shed and it is retrunable if it doesn't work, since I have mildly asmatic child. A week later I called the store and told them that the carpet sheds more then a dosen bunnies and it is not working out. The owner told me I can bring it back. Since the store is closed on Sundays I went on the following Monday. It turned out that no one is there to authorize the transaction and I need to back in a week when the owner is back. I came back after a week and got slammed by the owner's father with an angry:"Oh, I know about you. I am not taking it back, lady!" When I asked if I can speek to the owner the response was that I need to be back in a week, since he is sick. They are just hiding and not taking resposibility. The store has no return policy displayed anywhere, the paper they gave me in exchange for the transaction says nothing, just the amount and my own phone number!!!I am stuck with a rug I can't use and a very rude response. I feel helpless and very frustrated. I know accrding to California law they have to display a return policy or give you money back, but then agen who am I just some lady with nothing to fight them back but a carpet in my hands!
