DeAnn Jackson I was verbally abused by an attendant at Swifty gas station in Mansfield, Ohio. After waiting in a long line; I moved to an empty pump waiting for asistance. The attendant began waiting on the new customers pulling in the station. He finally came to assist me. I asked about the long wait. He began yelling. I told him, "I just want 10 in gas", I gave the $20.00 bill. I waited, I looked he was walking away. I opened the car door and asked for my change he pointed to the car. Yelled, "it's in your tank". I asked for the manager. He began running toward the station door. The manager came out. I told him what happened. He defended his attendant, and lied said there was woman who heard me. And he began yelling at me telling me to leave.
Then he sends out a woman attendant to take his place. I left in shame. This was like bad a episode of the Andy Griffith show. If this happened to me, it can happen to you!
