IndyMac Mortgage Service Complaint

My wife and I tried for three years to get a loan modification with a Freddy mac loan and used up my 401k and almost all our saveings to try to keep our home and ended being refused by IndyMac. Then we were called by a lawer and within 1 mo and $2500.00 later, we had are loan modification. what I don't understand is WHY ? How many other people are they doing this to? Why didn't they work with us? we sent them everything they asked for. william Peacock
