In Feb. 2011, I paid my DirecTV bill of $66.98 online. The next month I got a call from DirecTV saying that I had not paid the Feb.'s bill. At that point the "Nitemare" began.
I went to my bank and got the online payment conformation and faxed it over to them. Much to my surprise, they say that conformation receipt was not enough. They needed something else to verify that payment went to the right account number. After faxing that over it still wasn't enough and on May 8, 2011 DirecTV interrupted my service. I was forced to pay $109.26 to restore the service.
DirecTV, has beat me out of $109.26 after I have been a customer for over the past 10 years.
When asked to provide the DirecTV Corp. office number, I was told that they didn't have one. Now you tell me, when a buisness of this size don't have a telephone to be reached.
This is not the end of my story, I will be contacting an Attorney tomorrow!!
