I purchased an HP printer that had duplex scanning as an option. I purchased an extended warranty for a fee. When the printer broke HP did not have my printer in stock and they sent me a different model that did not have duplex scanning. When I call HP support I am transferred to a location in India. The person does not understand the problem and always give me the same answer “the printer does not support duplex printer, there is nothing we can do”. Other representatives keep asking me to scan a document to see if it duplexes. Some of them don’t know if the product will duplex scan. I keep telling them several of the representatives have told me the printer does not have the feature. I keep telling them I want them to send me a different printer that does duplex scanning. I keep getting put on hold as if there is a problem with the setup of the printer. It is like talking to a robot. I have made five different calls and been on the phone for a total of 10 hours total. This is a total rip-off. The foreign call centers are awful. HP is misrepresenting their service and cheating customers.
Please help this need to be on the news and consumers need to know that HP Service is awful and the company does not do what it says.
