How is it that a person who has a green card can have a rent stablized appartment for many years in the prime area of New York City when there permaneant residence is Egypt? I have reported this person to the building and still they are only using this apartment for 2 months a year when I am sure under the economic sitution in this country it could be rented to someone who truly needs it. This person being affilated with the United Nations has been tax exempt for over twenty years and because of their connections with the Egypt Consulate who has supposely contacted Mayor Bloomsberg's sister regarding keeping this apartment, who is also affilated with the UN....I consider that corruption. This is so unfair to the people who truly need a rent controlled apartment not some rich diplomatic wife!.
