Hi Taylor,

we called you to resolve and NOT to pass along again to another customer service person.
In the resolution of this whole situation a pat customer service jargon script was used on my mother. AGAIN.
Putting the blame on the customer again.

Instead of the company that benefits from lack of servicing a customer and ROBBING them by not providing services requested.
Seems like the sign of the time when a company doesn't take pride in servicing the customer and being responsible for their service or their lack of service.

Please DO NOT insult my mother by refunded $200.00 of $469.58.

Taylor, Think about it?......if you did not receive service as requested and were robbed by a company that expected you to pay? What would you think about that?

A state representative I know will be given the information to forward to the Attorney General and we will forward to our attorney in our family. Along with notifying the media.
Was hoping you could resolve this situation professionally and in a timely manner.

Sincerely,

Lynn LeBaube
and my mother Sheila Ryan

Dear Taylor,

after my 47 year old son died of colon and liver cancer in October 2010. My daughter and I planned a trip to Charleston, South Carolina., November 20th to November 25th, 2010.

By phone we booked with Delta, airfare and hotel- Comfort Inn on Bee St. downtown.

Requested accommodations for a non-smoking room and a first floor near the exit due to the fact that I'm 71 years old with asthma and difficulty in walking.

Comfort Inn reserved a fifth floor room that looked and smelled awful. Parking was very limited and we would have to walk 1 to 1 1/2 blocks away-not safe conditions.

We refused to stay and requested a refund. We arrived around midnight on 11/20/2010

About a mile away, LaQuinta provided all requested needs.

The next morning Sunday, 11/21/2010 we returned to Comfort Inn to personally confirm with the Assistant General Manager Vicky Ritchee that there would not be a charge. We were told to contact Expedia.

That same day I contacted my Visa card company and filed a complaint.

On Monday, 11/29/2010 with 10-12 phone calls to Expedia and 10 calls to Comfort Inn, who informed me that Hiren Viroja (the owner) did indeed charge me. Expedia offered
100.00 refund and hotel coupons.

My total charge was 469.58 for NO SERVICES RECEIVED.

IS THIS NOT ROBBERY?
