We bought a hot tub in 2010.
When the electric was hooked up in December, we found one of the pumps was faulty(we suspect it was disconnected by design because it didn't work, but nothing we can prove).
We complained, the merchant offered to replace it for $500+(including labor).
We complained more, he offered the replacement at cost. We contacted the BBB, and after some messaging back and forth, he begrudgingly agree to replace the pump, and did so in March. However, in doing so, he disabled the blower function and the tub is now leaking badly, nearly 3 inched per day. He did the pump replacement without notfiying us he was coming, and as a result - the breaker box was locked. He was able to trip the breaker, but was unable to test his work after the fact. I have given him ample opportunity to come back anbd fix this - from early April until now, mid-May...
I have left a number of messages for Sun King Pools and Spas (email and voice) to request that he complete the repair(blower functionality and more importantly, the leak), but he has not replied to any of these. My deck is still in pieces, I cannot finish it until this is resolved.
I understand that this may cost $200-$2000, depending on components - cash I don't have, nor do I have cash for a lawyer for a conflict this small..what can I do? I just wnat the components all functioning, and the leaked stopped.
