Hello:
I'm writing in hopes too get something done ASAP concerning bad health issues and animal neglect on our block. The neighbors and myself have tried too get something done about what is going on in our neighborhood since spring of this year, and nothing is being done. There is a family that is renting a home here in Mitchell Indiana and there is animal feces piled up in the home, not too mention all in the back yard. They have a 1 year old child and several dogs. There were some dogs left in there home for several days at a time. We contacted the city of mitchell and all they did was come clean out the dog pin outside where there are 3 dogs at right now. One of the dogs has mange and you can tell is sick, myself and the neighbors has been watering these animals for days. The guy that works for animal control told me that these dogs can not be taken too the pound because the pound is out of funds. The state police can't help because they told me it was up too the town we live in too help. Please please we need some help here. No one in our city will help us. There is also a snake in that house and has been for days on end. thank you ps...... the mayor was informed too this as well and still nothing is done.
