In January, 2010 I purchased a home warranty through Empire Home Warranty. When it became clear that they were not going to perform as contracted, I tried to work with them to get a refund. They refused to work with me or even reply to some of my correspondence. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Through the BBB, Empire Home Warranty agreed to refund the full $350.00 to me. It has been many, many months, and still I have no check. They have said several times (through correspondence with BBB) that they have mailed a check, but to date no such check has been received by me. I have tried to contact them several times in the past few months and they do not even respond to my e-mails. Please help, all I want is my money returned AS THEY AGREED. There seems to be quite a few complaints about them on-line with people getting the same results as I have.
