Samsung and Lowes Complaint

Had to but two stoves - Service

- New Philadelphia, Ohio
My wife and I purchased 4 new Samsung appliances for our new kitchen.
After Having the stove in place less than two weeks I did a stupid thing.
Iwas putting new knobs on the new cabinets and dropped one on the glass top stove. It broke. I called Lowes and Samsung and told them what I did. They told me it would cost $200 for a new top. I paid and waited three weekd and got the metal frame that holds the glass.
After countless times calling they finally got me an answer.

the new glass top is only sold as a complete top and it cost $3200 (you heard right) plus taxes and shipping.
We paid $1300 for the stove. No one would explain for me why.
Lowes finally agreed to sell me a new stove for $1100
Samsung would do nothing and still will not tell me why it can cost $3200 for a part for a $1300 stove.
I tried to put a nice and truthful reveiw on both Samsung and Lowes home web site, because they ask you to, but both refused and said it did not meet their standards.

I would just like to warn everyone else. There's nothing can be done for me. I've already paid for a new stove.
