HOW!!! I was a victim in Arlington Texas of a very serious crime. So serious the Arlington Police Department put an Emergency Protective order for 90 days against my Father. He pulled a gun and stuck it to my Belly, threatened me with it, in front of a witness, went to jail, charged with an assault with a deadly weapon WAS not released without my knowledge and that the POLICE knew I was in a safe place....BUT all charges were dropped when it went to the GRAND JURY. I was never contacted by the DA, so that she could retrieve any information from myself nor my sister the witness. All my mail is sent to a PO BOX and I never received a letter anything from her. I called the DA up and she informed me there was nothing that I could do about the charges being dropped. I am sorry but what else would you have to do in the state of Texas to get charges dropped when there was an eye witness and my goodness in the report it even states were he admitted LYING and then finally told the truth. Well I will tell you how. I am the daughter of a TEXAS politician and that Is how. MONEY and who you know in the state of Texas is how.
I have almost been ruined by my father in this state because of his power and I hope one day HE realizes that he has a daughter that has as much Strength and Will Power that he does. I WILL NOT LET HIM OR ANYONE ELSE GET AWAY WITH WHAT THEY HAVE DONE. I will spread the word all over that this is what the great state of TEXAS is all about. CASH-POLITICIANS-FRIENDS
Months Later I ran into one of the Officers that saw all of this take place over a weeks time. He looked at me and said: "How are you" I looked at him and I knew that he knew that what was done was wrong, he just stared at me with the most pitiful look, I wanted to say it's OK, I know you guys did what you could, its not your fault. There is so much more to this story, I hope that one day all my effort will pay off to make sure that what happened to me will never happen to anyone again in this great state.
