August 21, 2007 purchased a PrePaid Visa, CVS Pharmacy. The Offer included a $9.95 activation fee, must load between $20-$500. Loaded $70.00, went home had to register my name, birth date, social security. Claims you receive a card within 5-7 business days. there is a $4.95 monthly fee to keep card, they claim you can get a full refund within 30 days. I have called the numbers given, and they only have a recording "your activation is still under Review" I cannot e-mail them , they will not allow correspondence through e-mail. I have sent a certified letter September 4. They are holding up my monies. I cannot purchase anything do not have a card. Only thing that is given is an activation number which cannot be used.
I have also contacted Better business Bureau. Why should they be allowed to hold up monies. Please help me. Cheryl Young P>S. Contacted CVS store Manager he says he is helpless to do anything also, cannot get through. Cannot talk to a representative.
