We were accepted for a trial modification plan with GMAC our mortgage lender 12-28-2010. On 1-14-2011 GMAC proceeded with foreclosure process, posted foreclosure notice on our home 1-19-2011. Projected sale date is 3-2-2011.
We contact both GMAC and law firm handling our loan "daily" to ask how this can be? Law firm staff stated that it does not matter that we are in the trial plan, they will continue on with the foreclosure on our home.
WE HAVE DATED DOCUMENTS TO VERIFY WHAT THEY ARE DOING. NO ONE WILL HELP.
THIS IS AGAINST FEDERAL LAW. HELP
