Yesterday morning I walked out to find my car missing. I called the police to report the my car was stolen. They asked if my car could be reposessed. I told them no I have the title to my car. The police called me back to tell me my car was reposessed. I told them I have the title to the car. The police gave me the number to call. After three call later I find out GMAC repo my car. They took my car that I have the title for because of a book keeping error. I have had the title since 9/7/07. They claimed they called twice on May 13th and 14th. I never talked to anyone from GMAC. I can't get my car back till I pay the error plus repo fees. I have six children to drive to places and I have no car to take them. I have called but they have one guy to talk too and I he has yet to call me back. They told me they do not have to send me written notice that there is a problem They can take my car. Why would I pay over thirty thousand dollars for a car and not the last payment? I had no idea there was a problem because I have the title.
