I was Given a Gift receipt for a gift. I preferred the cash instead at the Sears store Located at Queensbury, NY. The Clerk attempted to assist me as did the ass't manager, however the Computer would not them allow that option, the purchaser who gave me the gift did not realize when purchasing that she would have to give the origional receipt as she was recommended that a gift receipt is more popular as the price is not shown.
Your Manager Patrick Clair then was called to assist however, unlike the other employees this man was Arrgant, insensitive and demeaning to my request. I am willing to report this entire insult to our local news along with this Managers name and your response if you do not wish to resolve this situation... the ammount was for a total of 21.78... and I do not wish to have a gift card. Though the cash back is the issue, it is now about as well your Managers repose. The Purchaser is a disabled individual with a low income and I wished to return the Cash to her. She cannot find the cash receipt she paid for it with as it was missing amongst the receipt she was given. I will hope for a response soon otherwise I will follow through with my endeavor.
