I wanted to let you know that I have bought a bed from you about 15 years ago and was very happy with the experience. My mother in law also bought two beds from you and was very happy with her shopping experience. Last February, my husband and I decided it was time to invest in a new bed. We went to your Pasadena store and was helped by a sales associate Jennifer. She was very helpful and we purchased a bed. We put a down payment with a Visa gift card of $100.00. Jennifer asked if I wanted to the gift card back and I told her no so she shredded it. The next day we were having buyers remorse and decided not to purchase the bed. I called the store and cancelled the order and explained to Jason not to put the refund on the gift card because we did not have it. He said that they would send me a check. A few weeks went by and no check. I called Jason again and he called your main office and they said that they put the refund on the shredded gift card. I then called your main office and spoke to girl named Lorena in accounting and explained the situation and she said that I could just be saying that the card was shredded and that there was no way to prove I did not have the gift card. I told her to call Jennifer but she did not want to help me. I then called Jennifer and explained what happened. She was very helpful in trying to get me my money back. Unfortunately your accounting department told her that they already refunded the money to the shredded gift card and that is all they would do since the money has been refunded.
I am very disappointed in your company. As large as your company is, your customer service is very lacking. I am sure a company like yours would be able to refund my $100.00 to me in the form of a check. I have also filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs so other people will know about my situation.
If I am needing to purchase a new bed I will not be going to your company. I would buy a bed from Jennifer because she went out of her way to help me but unfortunately she works for SitnSleep.
A $100.00 may not seem that much to you, but to a working family it is a lot of money. I hope this letter will find it way into the hands of someone at your company who knows how to treat a customer. I am also hoping that maybe I can get my $100.00 refunded back to me. If you would like to discuss this further I can be reached at ***-***-****
