General Contractor James Ellis of Emerald building services in Dallas has found a great way to make money and not do any work. He builds trust, then gets a down payment for work, then never shows up again. The police say this is a civil case and they won't touch it. The DA says, "call the police" and "we will contact you if we decide to pursue". James took a check from me for $6000. I have not seen or heard from him since. he did send one email indicating his attoney would work with me on repayment but that never occurred. James lives in a nice house on Mockingbird, drives a nice car, and takes expensive holidays. He faces no charges and no legal action. I will be taking this to small claims court, I will win, but I am told I will never see my money, Texas won't garnish wages, or arrest him. I suspect James will never claim this as income on his taxes, and again no repercussions. How can a person get away with this? I have references of others who have been ripped off with no way to make him make things right. I have an attorney, I have submitted this to the better business bureau. Please help me. Please help others. please expose the man for the fraud and thief he is. Your consideration of making this a story you investigate is highly appreciated.
