Tv Jewelry Purchases - Ordered Two Pendents Totaling 258.00 2 Months Ago

I ordered two pendents from gem country network on 3/11/08 money taken from my account on 3/12/09 total. 258.00 They were gifts for my son and his father. On 3/24/08 I called because I had never received the items. At that time they said they were sent to the wrong address. Although they had my phone number no one called or anything. I simply asked that they just credit my account as I no longer wanted the items, as they had never been received anyway I was told to wait up to two weeks. I have called every week as they told me there was only one person who did credits on mon and tues and she was backed up I accepted that and I called every week and they gave me the same story no your not in line for a credit but I'll but you name in now this has been going on for 1 1/2 months and I can never talk to anyone other than customer service. When I ask for to speak to anyone else I get hung up on this has happened several times including today 4/24/08 I think that I have been very patient but it's like there is no one there it might not seem like an awful lot of money but it is still mine. I am asking for some help as I don't even know if they are a real company I can't find them on the internet and what I found I try to send email to complain and it would not even let me sent it. Please help I am sure I am not the only one waiting for money from a company who is all over the cable net work and has 100's of people to take your money but only 1 to rectify things and give it back. Please please help thank you my name is linda wilson

Amazingly I can totally understand where you are coming from. I returned a purchase on July 25th and called and got an RMA (Return Merchanise Authorizaton.) It is now September 4th and after 10 calls later they state their credit cepartment is behind and customer service said they will give my information to them. Unfortunately I threw away the original invoice but they they are stupid enough to tell me the Order Number from the invoice and tell me what day that it had been returned. I finally called my credit card company and they personally called them and they were told the same thing as me about that they were behind. Needless to say I am getting a credit but they could fight it. I am afraid because I have another $600 out in returns from them and I am wondering when I will ever see it.

DO NOT buy from them!!!!!!!

I'm an Australian married to an American in Missouri. Now the problem seems to be that my credit card (Visa) will not be accepted for the last 2 purchases. Is my money not good enough for you. Please note I do have an Australian Visa card, however I've used this card world wide without a problem until NOW?

Why, I ask you, was my credit card fine and accepted for the first 2 items, then I receive a call AFTER the money has been deducted from my account for all 4 items telling me the last 2 items have to be cancelled due to my card being an international card. GemsTV 226 has NO problem at all with taking my orders with the same credit card and I've have purchased some gifts for my family back in Australia from them. The reason I don't have a USA card yet is we have not long been married and still waiting on some paperwork to come back from Homeland Security etc. I cannot have an American credit card until my residential status is officially permanent. Would you like a copy of the marriage certificate to prove all I'm writing?

Do you use credit cards throughout the world, yes I'm sure you do. Have you been rejected on your cards, no I'm sure you have not!!!
My husband works for the government and intends to contact the Attorney General tomorrow as one of your ladies told myself and him that I can't have the last 2 items. He was also informed that it will take 72 hours or more to credit this money to my account, yet it only took an hour to take it out but 3 days to refund......?!

we have decided to take this course of action. Nowhere on your terms and conditions on your website does it say it has to be an American/USA credit card!!!

The BBB http://middletennessee.bbb.org/contactus.asp will also be contacted should I not receive a plausible explanation even though you say on your show that ALL major credit cards are accepted. I'm sure VISA after sponsoring the Olympic Games would be considered major, wouldn't you?

We would like the goods, however 'your' so called customer service has been adamant about your apparent stance on this matter.

Should you chose to resolve this matter by calling either our home or mobile numbers in the morning before 11am, I will be more than happy to discuss this matter with you.

I can appreciate what you are saying. I returned an item within days of getting it to be told it can take up to 30 days to credit my account. What??? They had no problem immediately taking the funds from my account! You can only speak to someone from Customer Service and if you follow-up to ask to speak to someone higher or explain why the delay, they then ignore you. I guess you only get one response. The jewelry I ordered, while inexpensive, was also of pretty low quality. Buyer Beware!

I was checking into this company before I made a purchase..of course with all the infommercials and online purchasing from a bunch of unknown companies..I think it is smart to see what they are all about and yes these complaints have informed me very well and I will not purchase anything from them..however ..you indidviduals who complain should at least reread what you write out of anger.,,so you come across strong

To be more clear...
#1 - She received her full credit on April 23, 2008

#2- For margaretstpaul - I didnt get enough information out of that comment to look up any information on the order.

#3- The email regrding the credit card - according to our records we fulfilled all four of the orders he listed.

#4- Sometimes it may take up to 30 days to credit an account. Especially considering the time it takes for the customer to receive the item and send the item back. We must receive the item(s) back before crediting the account.

I too ordered a ring, that was not as presented. I called and received an RMA number without problem. They acknowledged receipt of the ring October 8, and still after weekly calls, I have no refund. Was told "15-30 days to credit my account", "It was processessed on Friday", "I dont know why they told you that", "Credit lady was out sick last week", "I'll put an emergency in for your credit", etc. Now I'm told the name has been changed to Perry's estate jewelry. There has to be something we can do.

They are not all three the same company - they are produced by the same company that just provides the studio space. Each show has individual owners. Gem Country has not changed its name its gone. People that worked for Gem Country, for the most part, left with it.

Our operators are sometimes not the brightest bulbs in the box. We are a production company, and that is all. The higher ups at Gem Country also left and there is bad blood because of it. Apparently the person you spoke to is confused.

The address is the same because we are a production company, we also ship from here. If you continue in your quest to receive your money you will find that these are separate entities.

My wife and I went through hoops trying to get a refund from Gem Country Network when I suddenly received an email from a lady in Texas who also fought Gem Country to get her refund. Her email to me was in response to a posting on a complaint web site that I did. She advised me to make a complaint with the Tennessee Better Business Bureau and the Tennessee Division of Consumer Affairs (you can type that info into Google and get their web sites). Anyway, I did just that and received our $500.00 refund. Just make sure you have documentation to back up your clains, i.e. proof of purchase, proof of sending the items back, i.e. UPS or FEDEX tracking information.

From my person opinon it is all a big lie because all the prices get jacked up before the show then they will say they are giving you a discount. not so true you are really paying full price. you have to watch who you buy from because there people really dont care for you just long enough to get your money. i know how they work i was done really shity by them. its the same address, same operators, and the same jewelry. just a few different show host and a different name. if you pay attention you will see. i hope everone is aware of the deal.

They are conartist. They close down then reopen with the same people under a new name.
