I was rear-ended by under-insured in 2006 (while stopped at red light). Other driver proven at fault, duh. GEICO insured for many years with no accidents or tickets. I paid for full coverage, uninsured motorist, etc. premiums for one to two vehicles owned. Single, mid 50s, safe driver. Neck, back, and knee injuries. Have been to too many doctors, knee surgery, too many medical treatmnts, etc. and on chronic pain medication.
I am having to sue GEICO, who have been fighting to avoid paying any fair amount to me. GEICO will do nearly anything to keep from paying any fair amount. Finally, after GEICO and attorneys have dragged this out over four (4) years, a jury trial is scheduled this month. Know that your/my attorney will end up taking at least half 50% or more of any settlement, then related medicals bills get paid out of the rest. IF there is anything left over, you MIGHT get a little. Nothing near to the coverages that you had paid for, or sufficient for the pain, suffering, and life ruined. LOTS MORE TO THIS WILL FOLLOW.
