Please help me. Geek Squad has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. It is the worst service I have ever had. My daughter's brand new laptop is there for over 5 weeks (!) and counting, and all we get are stories and run arounds. What a wast of money for their "Black Tie Protection Plan". A group of completely incompetent people. Every time we call, one person says they ordered a new hard drive and its on its way, another says that its on back order, and we should call the manufacturer. The third says the computer will be ready within 3 days. Its been 5 weeks and there's no telling when this ordeal will be over. Every day its a different story and its just treading water with them. We have not advanced one inch since 5 weeks ago and have no clue when my daughter will ever see her laptop again. She has had many school papers to write, and now has her final exams, all without her laptop which is a crucial tool to any high school student. 5 weeks (and still counting) for a laptop repair is not acceptable business practice. It is outrageous. We are beyond frustrated. With our experience and a huge volume of complaints we found online, we find it unbelievable that they are still in business, and more so, still have an A+ BBB rating.
