I just found out I had a bad Gas leak in the back of my house. I call the Atmos energy this morning and they came out to check it. I was told that the leak is from my side and should be paying for the bill of almost $300, my bill last month is less than $60.00. I called the company to see how they will help. I then realize that they check the meatier on 9/22/11, meaning that the gas was leaking when they came to read the meatier and nothing was done about. The person that checked the meatier totally ignored the fact that the meter was really going fast, because the lady that came to check the leak said the meter was moving real fast. I need help, I feel that Atmos should be responsible for the leak that happen since the meter was read. I want your help. I do not want some else that is not as luck as me to get killed.
