We purchased a dress at G Bridal in waterbury, ct on friday, my sister
went in and fitted. Yesterday the owners were steam cleaning the dress and
didnt realize that there was a red dress behind it causing the two colors to
blend. The owners claimed that they were bringing the dress to the dry
cleaners first thing this morning. At 4:00 my mother called to check in to
make sure everything was okay, the owners never sent the dress and offered
$7 for dry cleaning. My mother was upset and took my sister down to the
store to see how bad the stain was and it was barely noticeable. The owners
began swearing at my mother telling her that she need to write up a paper
claiming that she would not return the dress and sign it. My mom refused to
write up the paper and the owners began using vulgar language and swearing
at my family memebers, grabbed the dress out of my sisters hand and kicked
them out of the store and locked the doors. The police were called, the
owners swore that there was not a stain, but one worker walked out and said
"there was a stain i tried to take it out", the officer resolved the issue
and now are filing complaints against the office. There are many lawsuits
against this company for fraud in small claims courts. For example during
the commotion with my family a bride was in the store who was trying to get
a refund because the store ordered all size 8's for the brides maid without
doing fitting or anything. for more information let me know and i would like
