Furniture store ripping off military wives while husbands deployed - Furniture

- Fort Hood,TX/ Colleyville,TX
In Dec. of 2010, my husband deployed to Afghanistan. I moved back home to San Antonio to have our baby, due in the summer. During this time, I found a store via craigslist that sold furniture. My husband and I were planning on refurnishing our whole house and saving any extra money to do so. When I found this furniture company, I called them to let them know we would be purchasing from them and that my husband was deployed so set up was a must. They said no problem. A few days before moving back to Fort Hood, I called to let them know I would be moving back within days, and to pay for the Furniture. That was on the 19th of September. throughout this whole last month, they have brought me damaged furniture, they did not set up my furniture and I had to hire someone else to set it up. When the delivery guy delivered some of my furniture, he made me help him get it inside and when I hurt my back, and couldn't help any more he then dropped my sofa and walked out angry, and told me that I should have found someone to help him. They have not replaced my damaged loveseat, and when I called and asked for a refund on the set up fee I was charged, they called me back only to say I still owed 130 dollars more...and that I would normally owe 200 more but with my refund it was only 130. After I was told the sofa I ordered was 90 dollars more. They told me they would not deliver the rest of my stuff until it was paid. When I asked them if all my stuff was coming they said yes. So I paid the extra 130. The sofa they brought me is missing pieces, and they did not deliver my replacement loveseat or the nightstand that I already paid for. I have called repeatedly only to be told the manager is unavailable and will call me back. It has now been 3 days and they will not answer or return my phone calls. After some searching on the internet I found that I am not the only spouse of a deployed soldier they have done this too. This is truly only a short version of everything I have gone through. And here a month later, I still have not received everything I Paid for and what I do have is damaged even when every item has warranty through the manufacturer. I honestly don't know what to do. I have all my receipts, and a written account of everything that has happened. I can't even sit on my sofa because of the missing pieces and my children are sitting on the floor or the small damaged loveseat. I really need some help and don't know where else to turn. I would gladly take some help, all I want are the things we paid for since we spent all of our savings on the furniture. Thank you.
