Invoice No. 2230 dated 04/05/09. Included furniture, delivery and pickup of old furniture.
Paid $20 in cash as advance on 04/05/09 and $880 via check which was cleared on 05/01/09.
Never received any furniture
Called several times on a daily basis and they gave me the runaround. At times not even answering the phone. When they would answer the phone for example, Fong would rudely sometimes promise the furniture and never deliver. She would then move forward the promised day of delivery. Other times she would say she had to check with the “Manager”
Dates of calls when I did get a response included but not limited to:
06/01/09, 06/02/09, 06/05/09, 06/08/09 and several times prior and after those dates.
I even visited them personally on 05/30/09 demanding delivery and all I got was a half-hearted and discourteous response from Fong that I would be contacted on “Tuesday” (ie 06/01)
People whom I spoke to include,
(1) Fong "owner's daughter"
(2) John "manager"
(3) Joe
(4) Ken from the “warehouse”
5) David
(6) Mike supposedly "not working anymore"
I request your assistance in obtaining a refund of $900 from Furniture Plus in San Jose. I no longer want any furniture from them because not only has it been so long, I also do not want them to profit from being dishonest and rude to a customer who has fully paid them.
I would be grateful if you not only did the above but also exposed this fraudulent store so that others can be spared the potential loss.
