I was wrongly serviced and neglected during a difficult financial times. I comee from a remote area on the Dine nation in Arizona. I recently been struggling to make ends meet every morning with my spouse. we sale homemade commoddities to try to keep up with our monthly bills. I do have a skilled trade so I don't depend on handouts, but do to recession, everything is everything. I finally had the oppurtunity to work at a refinery in Gallup New Mexico. My family was depeding on me to get us out of the financial difficulties. All that was made during a two weeeks time was given to me for my expenses to head out for this oppurtunity to work a couple of months in Gallup. I headed out to Gallup to make orientation so I had to find a moterl within budget. Ichecked into the El Capitan Motel for a week, not knowing the job would be delayed another week. So politely I explained the situation to the manager. I tried to explain that all the money given to him was from my family and I reasonbly would like the consideration of understanding the circumstance. In short I was disrespectfully ignored. My existance was insignificant to his wholesale in "The land of the free America".I am a proud blue collared working American and I do understand times do test our abilities to stay financially above water, but not to be even considered a common mans understandig is profound. I was bluntly told I could not have a refund and disrespectfully shunned. I was told the police could be called but it woul;dnt change nothing, which is true, but the truth and point was that a fellow man was in need and his family was and still is in need. I had to struggle back home and explain to a family whos hope was as big as the statue of liberty that "our" money was kept in the manner of greed and by a man whos buisness only thrives on the oppurtunity into which we Native Americans are born into. I know their are many like me whove been in this perdictament but my respects to those who help their fellow American!As long as we keep pumping red white and blue, we will turn around whats rightfully "OURS".
