2008 Ford ranger. At 751 miles the engine light came on, and the engine would go up to 1200-1500 rpm's. If their is a vehicle in front of me. I have to put both feet on the brake peddle, to avoid hitting the vehicle in front of me. Now the truck has been in the dealership 4X. This problem happens every 751-851 miles. Ford has even had their engineer come out and look at the truck. This was at 2444 miles, the engineer said that it was the, dash wire harness. The dealership said that they replaced it. Now at 3443 miles, the same thing/problem. So now the truck sits at the dealership, waiting for a Ford rep and another engineer. The truck has been in the dealership since 6-2-08. I'm sure that ford will say that it is fixed. I will be back down at the dealership again.
